Xbox 360 Repair Under One Hour!

Having an Xbox 360 system break on your can be truly frustrating. The system will entirely shut down, not letting you access anything. Sometimes, your discs will get stuck in the system as well. If you send it in for repairs, you’ll end up waiting quite a while to get the console back. On top of this, they will charge you an arm-and-a-leg for repairs that they will not even guarantee. If you teach yourself to perform your own Xbox 360 repair, however, you will be able to quickly and efficiently fix any of the problems you come across.

More than 90% of the problems which cause damage to an Xbox can be fixed by you, as long as you work carefully and are very delicate with your actions. The 3 Red Light error can be quite a plague to anyone with their Xbox system, yet carefully repairing the damage to the system is possible. You simply need to know what you are doing.

It should be said, however, that if your Xbox 360 is still covered under warranty, you should turn it in for official repair. The warranty will cover and repairs which are needed and can replace your machine if the console is broken. If you open the machine, your warranty is considered broken and you will not be able to get a replacement.

If your warranty is expired, however, you should consider finding an accurate guide and repairing your Xbox 360 yourself. The first step which will go along with these repairs is learning how to safely remove the protective casing and opening your Xbox up. If you do this in the wrong way, you could cause damage to the components within.

Taking off the faceplate will be the first step to removing the protective casing from the console. Both the top and the bottom connect into this faceplate and trying to remove either of those pieces first can snap the protections holding them into place. The faceplate can easily be removed using the hole positioned at the bottom.

From here, begin at the gray cover at the bottom. Six tabs hold this into place, which you can access through the venting holes. Using a tool to press down on the tabs, you can pull gently and release the cover.

The top cover works in the same way, although the tabs are much harder to find. The first two can be found through the drive tray. The second pair can be accessed through vent holes at the top and the final two can be reached by removing the feet from the back of the console. After all of these covers are removed, however, you are ready to begin detailed Xbox 360 repair using a suitable guide!
