Who Will Win the NFC East in 2009?

The NFC East is a division that has been pretty great in the past, however I don’t expect so much this year. I think the Eagles should be dominant in this division this year.
The Cowboys are going to be alright but should most likely miss the playoffs again. Without Terrell Owens, Roy Williams will be double teamed often, and the team will be forced to rely on Marion Barber too much.
Their defense is ok, but not the best in this division. At best, I think the cowboys could finish the season with a 9-7 record.
The Giants will probably take second place in the division, and they’ll do it purely on the part of their dominant defense. Their running game isn’t great and they have no receivers, plus Eli Manning is somewhat inconsistent and not exactly reliable at the quarterback position. The Giants finish 10-6 in my opinion.
As for the Redskins, I see the finishing last in the NFC East. Jason Campbell hasn’t developed much as a QB, and their defense isn’t great. Their receiving unit is pretty weak as well. While I do happen to like Clinton Portis, he can’t carry a team on his own. I see the Redskins finishing the season with a losing record, no better than 7-9 at best.
As for the best in the division, I give this to the Philadelphia Eagles. Not only do I see them winning the division, but I believe they’ll be a top NFC team. While I’m not a fan of Donovan McNabb, this team has consistently great defense year and and year out, and this should carry them to success.
The running game in Philly is one of the best in the league, and the receiving is by far best in the division. I think DeSean Jackson has a great career ahead of himself. I think the Eagles will take the division, and possibly the NFC, with a record of around 12-4 or 13-3.
Then again, what do I know? Every NFL season is always full of surprises.
