Computer Gaming and Usage of Mind Controlled Gaming Solutions – It’s Here   by Richard Callahan

Many experts have predicted by more compared to one futurist that soon our online games will be played without the need of joy sticks and controllers. That we are using human motion in addition to mind controlled devices, but not only to communicate with the machine and other players, but also to control our avatars throughout the game. Sounds cool best suited? Well, for many mother’s I reckon that they might have reservations about all this. As a think container coordinator I too wonder about all this rapidly advancing technology and what it indicates for our future – the future of our overall society and civilization that is.

Indeed, there was an intriguing article recently on Kurzweil’s Quickly moving Intelligence News Online that’s posted on May 5, 2011 together with titled; “Flying by Mind Alone” – which may seem to suggest that the long run of computer gaming will full-tilt “augmented reality” taken care of by one’s own neural. The device is named the “Infinity Simulator” which happens to be very telling, makes me wonder if once a person starts playing they should never want to stop or be thrust on the game as a captive until that game has concluded.

Okay so, that’s pretty cool, and you’ll have to wear a silly device upon your head, but the thing really works, and although this is actually in the engineering, creating, and research phase you’ll be able to bet that it’s brought to market as a result of either Microsoft or Sony, or maybe a future competitor who will leave the two main mainstays in the dust and sell hundreds of millions of gaming devices yearly decade or so. I’d bet this technology is accessible to the public next five-years at a small price due manufacturing establishments of scale.

If it were currently available would you try it? I guess my just concern is that I’d want to make sure that it wouldn’t damage a brain. Yes, I bet those doing your research are wondering the same principle, and they will try and make it totally dependable.

Of course there is going to be copycats, and other companies seeking to develop similar technologies who may not care about the health and safety of the individual player’s neurological. Therefore I wonder in the event the FDA will get involved plus the FCC and the Mother Against Violence and Sex on On-line games (MAVS) so as to regulate the computer games future. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think into it.
